Pope Leo XIV landed in the Canary Islands at around 11:40am in the morning, which was one hour earlier in local time. He will begin the third leg of his trip in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and end it in Tenerife.
Ahead of him are two full days of events. The events for June 11 are as follows:
- MEETING WITH MIGRANT SUPPORT ORGANISATIONS at the port of Arguineguín
- MEETING WITH BISHOPS, PRIESTS, DEACONS, RELIGIOUS MEN AND WOMEN, SEMINARIANS AND PASTORAL WORKERS at the Cathedral of Santa Anaç
- HOLY MASS at the Gran Canaria Stadium
