This week, a new campaign kicked off to help rediscover the message of a special letter Pope Francis wrote to all young people.

The letter, titled Christus Vivit, was released following the 2019 Youth Synod. In it, the Pope encourages youth to fully embrace life with Christ. He recognizes the many challenges faced by young people today but emphasizes the healing that can be found in Christ—like he did here, in 2015.

POPE FRANCIS
Fleeing the challenges of life is never a solution. It is necessary to have the courage to resist

Now, in a new initiative, the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life wants to ensure this message of Christus Vivit is kept alive. A group of young communciators have designed and produced a social media campaign across the World Youth Day accounts to remember the Pope's letter and the experience of World Youth Day.

The campaign will last until the end of April and feature inspirational videos and a call to action from young people around the world. Together, they will remember the Pope's letter that said, “You can become what God your Creator knows you are, if only you realize that you are called to something greater.”
