Pope Francis: No people is criminal and no religion is terrorist

February 17, 2017. Pope Francis has sent an important message to the Meetings of Popular Movements that is taking place in Modesto (California). The pope denounces the "moral blindness of this indifference”: "under the guise of what is politically correct or ideologically fashionable, one looks at those who suffer without touching them. But they are televised live; they are talked about in euphemisms and with apparent tolerance, but nothing is done systematically to heal the social wounds or to confront the structures that leave so many brothers and sisters by the wayside”.

Kairy Márquez, one of the voices with a future in inspirational Christian music

2014-09-19

Kairy Márquez's childhood was not easy. At the age of seven she lived through her parent's separation, which meant moving to another country. It was a difficult experience that provoked many doubts on faith.

At 16, a choir member invited her to see a rehearsal by the musical group "Cristo en Marcha”, of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. From then on, music became her way of meeting God again.

Her lyrics reflect how He has touched her heart. In "Rey de poder” (King of power), her most well known song, she sings: "You opened the eyes of my heart, you opened the heavens and sent your light.”

Kairy Márquez is working on her first album. In the meantime, she collaborates with other musicians. In these past weeks, she has headlined for Jon Carlo Garcia in his American tour.
