There's an app for Truth and Life? Yes there is...

2015-08-01

What do the actors from Frozen, Lord of the Rings, and Raiders of the Lost Ark have in common? They all lent their voices to an audio version of the New Testament. It's an app titled "Truth and Life.”

The final product weaves together the voices of 70 actors along with subtle sound effects for a whopping 22 hour audio rendition. But "Truth and Life's” revolutionary take on the New Testament doesn't end there: the app also  features searchable texts, Catholic commentary and maps of the Holy Land.

The app also boasts a foreword by Benedict XVI, ringing endorsements from Raymond Cardinal Burke, and Archbishop Charles Chaput, as well as a seal of approval from the Vatican.

"Truth and Life” is available for iOS and Android for 20 dollars. For those who are looking for free content, Saint Mark's Gospel is available at no cost.
