After an intense week with canonizations and the Jubilee of priests and seminarians, Pope Francis started the week by meeting with the Council of Cardinals, better known as G9. In this Council, a group of nine prelates advises the Pope on governing the Church and reforming the Roman Curia. ;

On Wednesday morning, he will go to St. Peter's Square to deliver his catechesis to thousands of pilgrims. With the arrival of good weather in Rome, more pilgrims are expected to be in attendance to listen to Pope Francis.

During the week, the Pope maintained his usual schedule receiving visits in the Apostolic Palace and his residence in Casa Santa Marta.

No official acts have been confirm for Friday. So far, the Pope has held a surprised gesture of mercy on Fridays. Perhaps this week could be the one.

This Friday, the Jubilee of the sick and disabled people begins in Rome. It is expected to culminate on Sunday at 10 am in St. Peter's for a special Mass lead by Pope Francis. Then, as always, the Pope will close the week with the Angelus prayer.
