Pope prays for those in overcrowded prisons, who are especially vulnerable in pandemic
Before beginning his daily Mass, the pope prayed for inmates in overcrowded prisons, a serious problem in many parts of the world.
I would like us to pray today for the problem of overcrowding in prisons. Where there is overcrowding—so many people in one place—there is the danger, during this pandemic, of a serious catastrophe.
He also prayed for authorities in charge of prison systems, so they can find fair and creative solutions to the problem.
