On Sunday at 9 a.m. (local time) in St. Peter's Basilica, Pope Francis will celebrate an ordination of bishops and say goodbye to his master of ceremonies, Fr. Guido Marini.

Pope Francis named Fr. Marini the Bishop of Tortona, in northern Italy

Fr. Guido Marini has been the only master of ceremonies of the current pontificate, and he played an important role in the conclave that elected Pope Francis.

Now he will leave that position to take on the new responsibilities with which Pope Francis has entrusted him.

At the ceremony, Pope Francis will also ordain Chilean priest, Andrés Ferrada Moreira, the new secretary of the Congregation for the Clergy.

Fr. Ferrada Moreira was one of the first members of the clergy to break away from former priest, Fernando Karadima, in 2010. He was also one of the first Chilean clergy members to give credence to Juan Carlos Cruz, James Hamilton and José Andrés Murillo, victims of sexual abuse committed by Karadima.
