“Celebrate” Elton Rey's new song for WYD Panama 2019

Peruvian singer and songwriter, Elton Rey, is performing for the fourth time at World Youth Day. In Panama, he wants to leave his own mark with this song.

It is called “Celebrate” and was recorded in Lima, Peru, with these young people who choreographed a dance for the video.

“This how this song came about with the dancers and the music with the video called 'Celebrate.' We hope it will help all young people have a personal encounter with Jesus in WYD.”

He decided to give a Latin touch to the song by including some phrases in English. This is so people from all countries can sing it during the event.

“Since this meeting is international, I decided to put some of my lyrics in English. This is because it is a universal language and the message can reach all the young people who are going to be there on the day.”

Elton has performed Catholic music for 10 years. He realized he could show people God's love through music. Now Elton will be able to do it in front of hundreds of thousands of young people at World Youth Day. He hopes everyone at Panama will get closer to God.
