Pope Francis washes feet of 12 prisoners in a jail


Pope Francis celebrated Holy Thursday Mass at Velletri prison, around 30 miles from Rome. 

The ceremony was held in one of the prison's halls. 

Pope Francis washed the feet of 12 prisoners, from four different countries. Nine of the prisoners are Italians, one is Brazilian, one is from the Ivory Coast and one is from Morocco.
