This was the moment the Panamanian police found the Spanish Cardinal Lacunza inside a car—48 hours after his disappearance.

According to local sources, he was somewhat disoriented, but in good health. The police were able to find him thanks to surveillance videos. He was then taken to a medical center for some tests.

The cardinal, who is also bishop of the Diocese of David, went missing from his home on January 30. At that time, the Bishops' Conference issued a statement concerning his disappearance.

Cardinal Lacunza will celebrate his 80th birthday in the next few days and thus will lose his right to vote in the event of a conclave. He was created cardinal by Pope Francis in the consistory of 2015.
