EPIC the Band: the group that moved hearts at World Youth Day in Panama

EPIC the Band is a band that emerged four years ago, after two friends attended a Christian music concert. While there, they realized that they could also make meaningful music.

CHARLES RYAN
Drummer
“It happened to Daniel and me. We went to this Christian concert and said, 'You know, we can really do this. We have the musicians, we have the singers... Why don't we start something?'”

Now the band is made up of five young people. They have toured Florida several times and have also played in Atlanta. However, their biggest success was at World Youth Day in Panama, where they played in front of hundreds of thousands of young people from all over the world.

JESSICA NICOLE
Vocalist
“Our biggest stage was Panama. It was an incredible experience to just stand there, not just because of how many people were there – because there were a lot of people not only there present – but also tuning in from different parts of the world. It was just amazing to see.”

The members of this band clearly hope to attend the next World Youth Day. This time in Lisbon.

CHARLES RYAN
Drummer
“Yes, I think we're getting ready to release a couple of songs in Portuguese so we can prepare to go to Portugal.”

Now we only have to wait until 2022 to see what surprises this band has in store. Meanwhile, this summer they are touring Florida, Alabama, Texas and Illinois.
